Constant current regulators and LED drivers are suitable for replacing discrete solutions for driving LEDs in low voltage 5V, 12V or 24V AC/DC applications. External resistors allow circuit designers to set drive currents for different LED arrays. This discrete integration technology combines the components into one encapsulation, eliminating the need for separate parts and significantly reducing system cost and board space. The device is a small surface mount encapsulation SO8.
