The NCV8460A is a fully protected high-side driver that can be used to switch various loads such as light bulbs, solenoid valves, and other actuators. The device is internally protected against overload conditions through active current limiting and thermal shutdown. A diagnostic status output pin provides digital fault indication for high temperature and switch state open load conditions.
