The MC14020B 14-stage binary counter is constructed using MOS P-channel and N-channel enhancement mode devices in a monolithic structure. This part has an input wave shaping circuit and a 14-stage ripple carrier binary counter. The device advances one count on the negative going edge of the clock pulse. Applications include time delay circuits, counter control, and frequency division circuits.
