KA7552A/KA7553A are switching power supply control integrated circuits suitable for wide operating frequency range. Internal circuitry includes pulse-by-pulse current limiting, protection, on/off control for external triggering, low standby current, soft-start, and a high-current totem-pole output for driving power MOSFETs. The KA7552A has a maximum duty cycle of 70%, and the KA7553A has a maximum duty cycle of 46%. The input threshold voltages of pin 2 and pin 8 are different in KA7552A and KA7553A when the duty cycle is maximum.
