The MC33375 series are miniature power dissipation low-drainage (LDO) linear regulators available in multiple output voltages and SOT-223 and SOP-8 surface mount. These devices feature very low quiescent current and are capable of supplying more than 300mA of output current. Internal current and high temperature limit protection is provided by a short circuit at the output and an internal high temperature shutdown circuit. The MC33375 has a control pin that allows a logic level signal to shut down or turn on the regulator output. Due to the low input-output voltage dropout and bias current specifications, these devices are suitable for battery-powered computers, consumer and industrial equipment that require long battery life.
