The NCP81038 is a dual synchronous buck controller suitable for converting battery voltage or adapter voltage to multiple power rails required for desktop and notebook systems. The NCP81038 includes two buck switching controllers (fixed 5.0 V output on channel 2, 3.3 V on channel 1) and two on-board LDOs with three outputs: 5 V / 60 mA and 3.3 V or 12V/10mA. The NCP81038 supports high energy efficiency, fast transient response, and provides a power good signal. ON Semiconductor's proprietary adaptive ripple control enables a seamless transition from CCM to DCM, and the converter will operate at a lower switching frequency at light loads, but with much higher energy efficiency. The part operates from a supply voltage range of 5.5 V to 28 V
