The NCP5661 is a high-performance low-drainage (LDO) linear regulator for high-power applications requiring up to 1.0 A of current. It is available in fixed output and adjustable output versions. The NCP5661 is capable of output voltages down to 0.9 V with ultra-fast response time to transient loads, and additional features such as enable and error flags (for fixed output versions) enhance the usability of the device. Thermally robust, 5-pin DPAK or DFN 3.0 x 3.3 mm, combined with a low ground current (regardless of load) construction provides an excellent high current LDO solution.
