The CAV24C64 is a 64-kb I2C serial EEPROM device internally organized as 8192 words of 8 bits each. It has a 32-byte page write cache and supports Fast (100 kHz) and Fast (400 kHz) I2C protocols. External address pins make it possible to place up to eight CAV24C64 devices on the same bus.

The CAT25320 is an EEPROM serial 32-Kb SPI device internally organized as 4096x8 bits. It has a 32-byte write buffer and supports the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) protocol. The device is enabled through chip select (CS). Also, the must-have bus signals are the clock input (SCK), data input (SI) and data output (SO) lines. The HOLD input can be used to suspend any serial communication with the CAT25320 device. The device features hardware and software write protection, including partial protection and full array protection.
